The Hawaii Chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officers serves to promote the vision and mission of the IAAO; to pursue innovation and excellence in property appraisal and assessment administration through research, education, networking, and professional development. The IAAO is the globally recognized leader in property appraisal, assessment administration, and property tax policy. All four Hawaii Counties use Tyler Technologies, Qpublic, and Marshall and Swift cost tables to produce fair and equitable assessments statewide. The Real Property Divisions in Hawaii consist of four counties: Honolulu, Maui, Hawaii Island, and Kauai.
