Greg Brown was elected Santa Rosa County Property Appraiser in October 2000. He is a product of the Santa Rosa County Public School System, graduating from Milton High School. Greg also graduated from Pensacola Junior College and the University of West Florida. His military experience includes 17 years in the Florida National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves.

Greg is also very active in his community working on several organization's boards: 2001 United Way Chairman, Property Appraisers' Association of Florida (PAAF) Secretary, Chamber Coalition Member (Santa Rosa Chamber, Pace Chamber, Jay Chamber, Navarre Chamber, Gulf Breeze Chamber), Blackwater River State Forest Citizens Liaison Panel, Leadership Santa Rosa Graduate 2002, Youth Sports, Pace High School Quarterback Club, Pace High School Advisory Council and Olive Baptist Church.

Greg has been in the appraisal industry for nearly 30 years. His major goal, as Santa Rosa County Property Appraiser, is to enhance public awareness of the assessment process and the variety of information available through the Appraiser's Office.
